What they do
Adivasi Lives Matter is a digital storytelling initiative run by the registered society Prayog Samaj Sevi Sanstha, headquartered in Tilda, Raipur district. Founded in 2016 by Ashish Birulee, Ankush Vengurlekar and Isha Chitnis, it trains Adivasi and tribal individuals to produce articles and videos about their own culture, language and social issues. It says it has trained more than 500 people across roughly eight states and has published over a thousand articles and thousands of videos, with trainees paid for accepted content. The platform also runs a fellowship programme and periodic summits for its network of content creators.
