What they do
Ellora Vigyan Mancha is a Guwahati-based society, founded in May 2004 and named in memory of Ellora Roychoudhury, that works to spread scientific temper and counter superstition in Assam. It runs campaigns for blood, eye, organ and whole-body donation for medical research and transplantation, alongside health awareness and climate change outreach. As of 2022 it had facilitated over 150 body donations to government medical colleges in Assam and operated more than 40 branches across the state.
