    What they do

    HelpAge India is a secular society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, founded in 1978 by Jackson Cole and Samson Daniel to work on the welfare of disadvantaged older persons. It is headquartered in New Delhi and runs mobile healthcare units, elder self-help groups and elder-care programmes through around 26 state offices across the country. Its current chairperson is Kiran Karnik and its chief executive officer is Rohit Prasad.
