What they do
Jagori is a New Delhi based feminist resource and training centre working on women's rights, gender based violence, and safety in public spaces. It was founded in 1984 by Abha Bhaiya, Kamla Bhasin, Runu Chakravarty, Gauri Choudhury, Sheba Chhacchi, Manjari Dingwaney and Jogendra Panghaal, and runs a documentation centre, helplines, and training programmes on feminist issues. It also operates a rural extension, Jagori Grameen, based in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
