    What they do

    The Voluntary Health Association of Tripura (VHAT) is a society registered in Agartala on 12 December 1988. It works on health promotion, elementary education, child protection, disability welfare and livelihood and skill development, and runs the Anwesha Child Protection Centre, a registered children's home under the Juvenile Justice Act for orphaned and underprivileged children in Agartala. It is registered under sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act and under section 11(1) of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act.
