    What they do

    VSPCA (Visakha Society for Protection and Care of Animals) is a society founded in 1996 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, working on animal rescue, treatment and rehabilitation. It runs a shelter housing more than 1,300 animals, a spay and neuter programme that has carried out over 180,000 surgeries, sea turtle conservation along the Visakhapatnam coast, and mobile veterinary ambulance services. VSPCA also responds to natural disasters to rescue and treat affected animals.
