What they do
The Association of People with Disability works with people with physical, intellectual and sensory disabilities across urban and rural south India. Its programmes include early intervention, inclusive education, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, assistive technology, livelihood and skilling support, and community mental health services. It was founded in Bengaluru in 1959 and is one of the older disability-focused organisations in the state.
