    What they do

Bihar Voluntary Health Association (BVHA) is a Patna-based network of charitable hospitals and health centres founded in 1969 and registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in February 1970. It is a membership association of more than 160 civil society organisations and health facilities across Bihar and Jharkhand. Its work includes mobile health services, capacity building for grassroots health organisations, disaster relief and outreach to homeless populations. It describes itself as a secular voluntary health association rather than a single direct-service provider.
