    What they do

    CHINAR International (Child Nurture and Relief) is a child and youth welfare organisation headquartered in Srinagar, established in India in 2011 as the local counterpart of an affiliated charity founded in 2003 in Virginia, USA by Irfan Shahmiri. It supports orphaned and vulnerable children, works to improve quality of education in government schools, and runs youth skill-training, livelihood support and crisis relief programmes across districts of Kashmir and two districts of Jammu, with an additional office in Delhi.
