What they do
The Earth Saviours Foundation runs two free, round-the-clock shelter homes on the Gurugram-Faridabad border for abandoned elderly people, people with mental and physical disabilities, and survivors of abuse and terminal illness. It was founded in 2008 by Ravi Kalra, known for his long-running anti-noise-pollution 'Do Not Honk' campaign. Following his death, his son Jas Kalra took over as President and now leads the foundation, which performs dignified last rites for unclaimed bodies and reports having rescued more than 25,000 people since its founding.
