What they do
The Green Foundation is an Imphal-based non-profit established on 1 May 1992 to support poor and marginal farmers in Manipur through organic farming training. It promotes practices such as the System of Rice Intensification, biofertiliser production and soil management, and reports more than 6,500 registered farmers across the state. The organization has also launched a mobile app, Green Manipur, to help farmers with market linkage and the supply chain.
