What they do
Pankh is a non-governmental organisation based in Port Blair, inaugurated on 12 March 2019 and led by founding president Komal Anand and founding general secretary Samhita Veda Acharya. It runs inclusion programmes for children with disabilities, working with the Composite Regional Centre and the Block Resource Centre on resource rooms, workshops and pain relief camps. It also organises stress management and awareness sessions for women and school students, including an examination stress programme run with the District Child Protection Unit for children living in child care institutions. Local press has covered its activities continuously from 2019 through 2026.
