    PondyCAN (Pondy Citizens' Action Network) is a civic organisation founded in Puducherry in March 2007 to work on environmental and coastal issues affecting the union territory. It has campaigned on beach and shoreline restoration, urban lake and waterbody conservation, and coastal resilience in and around Puducherry town. It is part of the Alliance for Good Governance, a group of civil society organisations that has revived dozens of ponds and tanks in Puducherry. Founding members listed for the organisation include Probir Banerjee, Jagadish Bose, and Adwaita Banerjee.
