What they do
Seva Mandir is a Udaipur-based voluntary organisation founded in 1968 by Dr Mohan Sinha Mehta to work on rural development in southern Rajasthan. It runs natural resource management programmes such as water harvesting and tree plantation, more than 140 non-formal bridge schools for out-of-school children, women's self-help groups and resource centres, and youth vocational training. It also works on urban governance and heritage in the peri-urban towns of Delwara and Kelwara near Udaipur.
