S M Sehgal Foundation is a rural development trust founded by plant geneticist Suri Sehgal and his wife Edda Sehgal. It works on water management infrastructure such as check dams and ponds, sustainable agriculture extension for smallholder farmers, drinking water and sanitation in government schools, and local governance training.
