    What they do

    Vishakha, registered as Mahila Shiksha Evam Sodh Samiti, is a feminist organisation founded in 1991 in the period following the Deorala sati protests in Rajasthan. It builds women's collectives and works on gender-based violence, education and health in Bagru town and the former Phagi block of Jaipur district, and in Salumbar block of Udaipur district. It is registered under the Societies Act and holds FCRA and 80G status.
