What they do
COVA (Confederation of Voluntary Associations) is a Hyderabad-based network of voluntary organisations formed in 1994 in response to communal riots in the city's old quarters, and formally registered as a society in July 1995. It works on communal harmony and peace-building, women's economic empowerment through cooperatives, children's rights and education, youth training, civic action for basic services, and disaster management. It has held FCRA registration since 2000 to support this work with international partners.
