    What they do

    Jyothirgamaya Foundation is a nonprofit organisation headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram that works to empower people with visual impairment. It was founded in 2015 by Tiffany Brar, who is herself blind, and began by taking educational services to blind children in remote areas using a converted vehicle. It provides training in computer use, internet literacy, Braille, mobility, life skills and vocational work such as basket weaving to help blind and visually impaired people become independent.
