Loka Kalyan Parishad (LKP) is a Kolkata-headquartered rural development organisation founded in 1977 that works in the districts of Birbhum, Purulia, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. It runs programmes to strengthen local self-government institutions, land and water resource restoration in the Sundarbans and drought-prone areas, and women's micro-enterprise development. Its founders included agricultural scientist Sudhangshu Chakravarty, former West Bengal Chief Justice Shankar Prasad Mitra, and West Bengal State Planning Board member secretary Narendra Nath Sen.
