    What they do

Manukhta Di Sewa Society is a registered society founded in May 2016 by Gurpreet Singh, based in village Hasanpur on the Ferozepur-Ludhiana road near Ludhiana. It began after its founder, who ran a roadside eatery, took in an abandoned paralysed man, and has since grown into a guesthouse caring for around two hundred destitute, mentally ill and homeless people. The society also runs medical camps for the visually impaired, distributes monthly food rations to poor families, funds education for underprivileged children, and works on cases of modern slavery and reconnecting destitute individuals with their families. It holds 12AA income-tax exemption and FCRA registration.
