What they do
MV Foundation is a registered trust set up in memory of the educationist Mamidipudi Venkatarangaiya, working to eliminate child labour by getting out-of-school children enrolled in formal education. It developed an area-based approach in the districts around Hyderabad, releasing bonded child labourers and running residential bridge-course camps to mainstream older out-of-school children. It now also acts as a training and resource centre for other NGOs and government bodies on child rights.
