    What they do

    Samphia Foundation is a disability rehabilitation nonprofit headquartered in Kullu, founded by occupational therapist Dr Shruti More Bhardwaj. It runs the Aash Child Development Centre and a mobile Therapy on Wheels service that brings physiotherapy, occupational therapy and early intervention to children with disabilities in remote Himachal villages. It also operates a District Early Intervention Centre in partnership with the Regional Hospital, Kullu, under the RBSK programme. Founder Dr Shruti More Bhardwaj received the President of India's National Award for the Best Rehabilitation Professional working in the field of disability in December 2025.
