    What they do

Sethu is a registered trust founded in 2005 by developmental paediatrician Dr Nandita de Souza and five other advocates for inclusion, to provide early intervention and family support for children with disabilities in Goa. It offers developmental assessments, therapies, counselling, inclusive-education support and training for professionals and families, describing its approach as neurodiversity-affirming and family-centred. It began in a two-bedroom apartment and, after outgrowing several premises over 18 years, currently operates from Saligao. It broke ground on a purpose-built permanent centre elsewhere in Bardez taluka in 2022.
