    What they do

    Snehalaya is an Ahmednagar based NGO founded in 1989 by Girish Kulkarni, initially to educate the children of sex workers in the city. It now covers rescue and rehabilitation of trafficked women, HIV/AIDS care, shelter homes, and education for at-risk children in and around Ahmednagar. The organisation runs about 17 projects and reports reaching over 100,000 people.
