What they do
Guild of Service is one of India's oldest women-led social service organisations, started in Chennai in 1923 by Mrs Waller and a group of European women and later registered as a society in 1949. It runs general and vocational schools, homes for destitute women and children, and rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. It coordinates over 22 units and projects in Chennai and 16 affiliated units across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Delhi.
