What they do
Ladakh Arts and Media Organisation (LAMO) is a non-profit founded in 1996 to support the arts and cultures of Ladakh. It is based at the LAMO Centre, a restored group of traditional buildings below Leh Palace in the old town of Leh. The organisation runs artist residencies, exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, and a research library and visual archive documenting Ladakhi history and heritage. Monisha Ahmed continues to serve as its founder and executive director.
