What they do
Leh Nutrition Project (LNP) is a non-governmental organisation based in Leh that grew out of a Save the Children child-nutrition and relief programme brought to Ladakh in 1978 and was formally registered as LNP in 1988. It works on rural livelihoods and self-reliance, watershed development including artificial glacier construction pioneered by former LNP watershed project manager Chewang Norphel, water and sanitation, and STEM education and kitchen-garden programmes for children across Ladakh. Chotak Gyatso was appointed executive director in 2022, and Tsering Samphel chairs its board.
